Leadership in Action Week

In 2024, we are hosting the first annual Community College Leadership in Action Week. While the events will feel familiar, we will now be packaging them together for a more cohesive approach, and, ultimately, a greater impact.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

Our first event will be the Student Legislative Seminar, which will be held on February 26 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Phi Theta Kappa, known also as PTK, will have an awards ceremony and dinner in the evening of February 26 starting at 6 p.m.

Our third and final event will be Community Colleges Day On The Hill, to be held on February 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
 

Registration is now open. We ask one representative from each community college to respond on behalf of their group for the Student Legislative Seminar and Day on the Hill. A separate registration for the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Awards will be sent to the campus advisor.

 

Updates about Leadership In Action Week will be sent through email, added to our website, and posted on social media. In addition to these events, Community Colleges for Iowa will be providing resources on how your campus can share the importance of excellent, accessible education.
