This position serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for DOE with management responsibilities for a $4 billion budget. The CFO is responsible for assuring fiscal accountability through developing budgets, monitoring expenditures, filing quarterly federal expenditure and estimate reports, processing claims and Invoices, overseeing purchasing and contracting, coordinating federal and state audits and compliance reviews, conducting sub-recipient audit reviews, oversight of employee payroll and personnel flies, and operation of the department's federal and state cost allocation system.
