John P. Kibbie Award
James Mollenhauer
James (Jim) Mollenhauer, chair of the Kirkwood Community College Board, exemplifies what it means to be a servant leader. Jim has been with the Kirkwood Board for 20 years and has served in every capacity available and done so with the utmost integrity and respect. As the Chair, Jim is, and has been, a steady guiding force to the Kirkwood Board for the last 7 years. Prior to being the chair, Jim served as Vice Chair for 8 years and has served on the Kirkwood Foundation Board for 19 years. But Jim’s commitment did not stop with Kirkwood, he also served on the Community Colleges for Iowa board and he has served the communities of Cedar Rapids and Marion with the same commitment and dedication. There is simply no one more deserving of the Kibbie award than Jim Mollenhauer. He represents all that is good and respected in board leadership.

John Deere was selected by Hawkeye Community College to receive this year's Community Service Award. Hawkeye is grateful for the opportunity to recognize an industry partner and values all that John Deere has done to support their college, their students, and the Hawkeye community.

Bob Jennings
Bob Jennings, Iowa Lakes Community College Trustee, has served as the chair of the Community Colleges for Iowa board for the 2023-2024 academic year. His leadership on the board and contribution to the community college sector is greatly appreciated.
Chief Executive Officer Leadership Award
Dr. Todd Holcomb
Dr. Todd Holcomb, President of Hawkeye Community College, has served as the chair of the Community Colleges for Iowa's Presidents group for the 2023-2024 academic year. His leadership in the presidents group and contribution to the community college sector is greatly appreciated.
