The Community Colleges for Iowa awards program is designed to recognize and honor outstanding Community College Trustees, Equity Programs, Presidents, Faculty Members, and Professional Board Staff Members. Community Colleges for Iowa encourages local boards to submit nominations.
In 2023-24, the Awards process changed, with some awards being given to recipients during the annual summer trustee conference and others during the inaugural Convention & Tradeshow. Secondly, we are no longer be sending completed award nominations to ACCT for national awards consideration. It will be at the discretion of each College to do so to allow more Iowan nominations to be considered for the national awards.
